Compression and Decompression section
In addition to the information required for constant depth zones, a second depth must be specified for compression and decompression zones. For a correct overview of the zone types of a screw, a compression zone MUST have a compression ratio CR of greater than 1 and a decompression zone a compression ratio CR of less than 1. The compression section/decompression section type can be easily changed in the input dialogue at the touch of a button.
Another special feature is that a constant pitch does not have to be used, but can be specified separately for the start and end of the section. A continuous change of the pitch is assumed over the entire length of the section.
