A spiral shear section is entered in the same way as a maddock shear section. In addition to the input data for the Maddock shear section, the dimensionless pitch of the grooves must be entered for the helical shear section. The corresponding pitch angle is calculated. The axial length of the bars must be entered as the bar length.
