The number, width and spacing of the teeth depend on each other in the toothed disc mixing part. The first two values must be entered, from which the third can be calculated. This applies to the data in both the axial and circumferential directions. Similar to the Maddock shearing part, the canal shape of the toothed disc mixing part can be described by three different geometries (rectangle, semicircle, circular section).

The effective canal depth is the auxiliary variable for determining the corrected canal depth on which the calculation is based.
