Only two or three values need to be entered to fully define these two screw elements. These are the length $L$ and shear gap height $s$ for the cylindrical shear section and the length, start and end shear gap height $s_1$ and $s_2$ for the conical shear section.

As no worm clearance can be edited for the cylindrical and conical shearing part, it should be noted that, unlike the other elements, the shearing gap height extends from the base of the shearing part to the inside diameter of the cylinder.
