Definition of a Die geometry (PSI)
In contrast to REX, the back pressure in the injection moulding process is specified by the machine control system. The mould input in PSI therefore refers to the pressure loss in the gate and is only required for the wear time calculation of Ring non-return valves.
A constant pressure loss can be specified or a gate with a round or rectangular geometry can be specified.
