If the following error occurs when you start the program, the dongle needs a patch, as it is probably still equipped with the outdated encryption technology (from 2013). Following the instructions below, we need the c2v file of the key and can then prepare the patch.

1. Please download the following remote update system tool: RUS_KTP2025.exe from https://download.ktp-software.de/RUS_KTP2025.exe
2. Please use the RUS_KTP tool to read information from your dongle and send it to info@ktp.upb.de as a c2v file.
3. We will use the c2v file to generate an update file specifically for the dongle and make it available to you.
4. Now navigate via browser to the driver http://localhost:1947 and navigate to 'Update/Attach'
5. First make sure that the corresponding dongle is connected to the system.
6. Upload the corresponding v2c (Vendor to Customer) file (Select file…) and confirm the patching (Apply File).
7. You can then check the success via browser (http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html): The features for REX / PSI and PAM should now be activated again.
