The technological data of the material is entered in the ‘Technology’ tab:

• Minimum, maximum and average granule size: The granule size is used to calculate the corrected bulk density in the feed zone. These values also have an influence on the throughput calculation in the case of a grooved bush extruder or consideration of the solids conveying in the smooth barrel extruder.
