Design of experiments
The Design of Experiments is a tool for creating experimental designs in REX/PSI. The following experimental designs can be implemented:
- Factorial
- Full factorial
- Half factorial
- Full factorial 3^k
- Central composite design
- orthogonal
- rotatable
- Face centred
- Box-Behnken design
- Multilevel design
Control variables/influencing variables can be added at the top left of the window. The variation of the control variables can be determined in the ‘from’, ‘to’ and levels columns. Target variables can be added below this.
The test planning only serves as an interface here. The ‘Create measurement sheet’ button is used to generate all test points of the test plan as a measurement sheet. The experimental data for the respective test points can be entered here.
The ‘Create variation’ button is used to transfer all test points of the test plan to the variation module. All processes of the test plan can be calculated automatically here.
